The Role of Guide in Wire Material Production
(1) Import the rolled piece into the roll pass correctly;
(2) Guarantee the stable deformation of the rolled piece in the pass, and obtain the required geometric shape and size;
(3) The rolled piece is smoothly derived from the pass to prevent roll winding.
(4) Controlling or forcing the torsion or bending deformation of the rolled piece to move in a certain direction.
(5) In rolling profiles of any cross-section shape, guide devices are used in almost all rolls'imports and exports. Its function is to enable the rolled piece to enter and exit the pass according to the required state, and to ensure that the rolled piece is rolled according to the specified deformation conditions. Despite the reasonable pass design, if the guide device is designed or used improperly, it can not roll out qualified products, and may cause scraping, steel extrusion, roll winding, or even roll breakage or serious equipment accidents and personal accidents.
