It’s good news for London’s night owls.
The Picadilly line will resume its Night Tube services this weekend.
he London Underground’s Piccadilly line will resume Night Tube services this weekend, for the first time since they were suspended due to the pandemic.
Services will make their comeback on the evening of Friday, July 29, and will run throughout the night on Fridays and Saturdays.
The return of this line means that full services of the weekend Night Tube and the Night Overground services that were available before the pandemic, will be back up and running.
The Northern line resumed its Night Tube services earlier in July, while the Central and Victoria lines’ services resumedin November 2021. However, RMT strike action across Night Tube services disrupted their return.

The Night Tube runs until 5am, after this, normal Tube services resume. That means these lines have 24-hour tubes running all weekend.
Trains run on average every 10 minutes across the entire line.
Trains run approximately every 10 minutes between White City and Leytonstone and approximately every 20 minutes from Ealing Broadway to White City, and Leytonstone to Loughton via Hainault. There are no Night Tube services between North Acton and West Ruislip, Loughton and Epping, or Woodford and Hainault.
Trains run every 10 minutes across the entire line.
Usually, trains run about every eight minutes between Morden and Camden Town and approximately every 15 minutes from Camden Town to High Barnet and Edgware. No Night Tube services operate on the Bank and Mill Hill East branches.
Trains run on average every 10 minutes between Cockfosters and Heathrow Terminal 5. There is no Night Tube service on the Terminal 4 loop, or between Acton Town and Uxbridge.
The London Overground Night Service runs Friday and Saturday nights into the early hours of Saturday and Sunday mornings between New Cross Gate and Highbury & Islington. You can expect trains every 15 minutes.
Nick Dent, TfL’s Director of Customer Operations, said: “It’s great to see that our Night Tube services will be back to full strength this weekend, with the Piccadilly line Night Tube service resuming tomorrow evening. This will complete the reintroduction of all five Night Tube lines following a difficult two years.”
But we can’t say goodbye to the travel chaos just yet. The good news is that the RMT Night tube strike is now suspended. However, due to ASLEF strike action on Saturday, July 30, there will be no Night Overground service running on the evening of July 30 and the early hours of July 31.
